On November 13-14, 2013, a new model on doing exercises combined with protecting lake environments was launched for the first time in Hanoi with participation of the People's Committee of Thanh Nhan and Ngoc Khanh communes, the veteran’s organization and inhabitants of the communes who live around Thanh Nhan and Ngoc Khanh lakes.

There are five sewers through which waste water goes directly to the sea in Nha Trang City, five other sewers to Cai River and another 3 to Quan Truong River. All of these have made the Nha Trang Bay more and more polluted every day. The visitors to Nha Trang Bay on sunny days would smell the bad odor from the manholes and see the black water stream.

Sweden’s agencies will continue support for environmental protection and climate change adaptation projects in the Mekong Delta province of An Giang. The commitment was made by representatives from the Sweden International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) and the Swedish Embassy in Vietnam during their working session with the provincial leaders on November 6, 2013.
