The Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park in the central Quang Binh province has received a douc langur from a local resident. The mammal, with the scientific name Pygathrix nemaeus, is listed as an endangered species by the International Union for Conservation of Nature.15/09/2015
Intensive shrimp aquaculture and destructive fishing practices have contributed to coastal erosion and reduced biodiversity in the Cuu Long (Mekong) Delta province of Ben Tre, according to a community-based project carried out in the region.
